Lady Raiders to make 11 TV appearances this college basketball season

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Lady Raiders will have 11 games on television this season under new head coach Marlene Stollings, according to the Big 12 Conference TV schedule released on Tuesday.

Texas Tech’s contest with Baylor at the United Supermarkets Arena on Jan. 6 at noon will be on the Fox Sports Networks, as will a road game at West Virginia on Jan. 23 at 5 p.m.

Texas Tech’s Athletic Department added seven other tv appearances.

In non-conference, Texas Tech’s game with Idaho will be on Fox Sports Southwest Plus on Nov. 17 at 3 p.m.

The Lady Raiders play Florida in the Big 12/SEC Challenge on Dec. 2 at noon. That will air on the SEC Network.

Tech’s final two non-conference contests will be on FSSW+ and FSSW, facing Texas Southern on Dec. 22 at 1 p.m. and Abilene Christian on Dec. 29 at 3 p.m.

According to a Texas Tech news release, the Lady Raiders will have five third-tier Big 12 broadcasts starting with the home game against Kansas State on Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. The Lady Raiders will appear on TV when they travel to Baylor on Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. Both games will air on FOX Sports Southwest.

Tech’s conference games against Oklahoma State (Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m.) and Iowa State (Feb. 26 at 6 p.m.) will be broadcast on FOX Sports Southwest while the Lady Raiders’ game vs. West Virginia (Feb. 13 at 6 p.m.) will air on FOX Sports Southwest Plus.

The Lady Raiders will hold their first practice of the fall semester on Sept. 26.
