Lubbock man, partner on NBC’s The Voice
Continuing Season 15 of The Voice, duo OneUp secured a spot on Team Kelly by singing "Could It Be I’m Falling in Love" by The Spinners. One half of the duo, Jerome, hails from Lubbock, TX.

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Jerome Bell, a Lubbock native, and his partner on stage and in life, Adam Bastien, are the only duo this season of The Voice. They make up the group OneUp.

Adam is from North Branch, Michigan and currently living in New York City. Jerome is from Lubbock and currently living in New York City. Jerome attended Frenship High School.

As the only duo this season, Adam and Jerome share more than just their love for music. In New York City, they were cast as love interests in a music video and quickly fell into a real-life relationship. For the past six months, they have been cultivating their act, OneUp, in which they showcase their complementary voices. Gaining acceptance from their friends and family has been rather difficult, but “The Voice” gives them the opportunity to reveal the strength of their talent and relationship.

Ultimately after a three-chair turn, they chose Kelly Clarkson to be their coach.

Watch how they advance on The Voice, which comes on Mondays and Tuesdays at 7 p.m. central.
