LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Lubbock Emergency Disaster Team with the Salvation Army left Thursday morning to help with relief efforts in Florida as Hurricane Michael approaches the West Coast.
The team’s first stop will be Shreveport, Louisiana before traveling to Panama City, Florida. Lubbock’s emergency team is one of at least five Texas units that will go to Florida to aid in the hurricane relief effort.
