A few sprinkles or light rain showers are possible across the viewing area this evening and overnight tonight.
Rainfall totals, if any, should remain very light. Some areas may remain completely dry.
Clouds are in the forecast through daybreak with overnight lows in the upper 30’s to near 40 degrees. Winds remain out of the south at 10 to 15 mph this evening.
Mostly cloudy skies are expected Thursday. A few sprinkles and light rain showers remain possible early in the day.
Models are showing a much stronger disturbance approaching the Lubbock area Thursday evening.
Widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible Thursday night through Friday morning.
Locally heavy downpours are possible across the viewing area late Thursday night.
Low temperatures fall into the lower 40’s Friday night with rain in the forecast through mid-morning Friday.
Clouds continue across the viewing area Friday with highs in the 50’s.
Colder temperatures are expected this weekend with highs in the 40’s and lower 50’s Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances are low over the upcoming weekend.
