2 hospitalized after crash involving vehicle and train

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision took place at Highway 60 and Johnson Ranch Road, six miles west of Canyon.

Officials said the driver of the truck failed to yield the right of way, causing the train to hit the back of the truck, then causing it to roll.

The driver and passenger of the truck were taken to Northwest Texas Hospital with injuries considered to be non-life threatening.
