LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Texas Tech men’s basketball has stayed at No. 8 in the Associated Press' Top 25 poll, which was updated and released Monday morning.

The ranking comes after Tech was able to hold off Oklahoma 66-59 at home and Texas 68-62 in Austin -- a win the Red Raiders haven’t seen there since 1996. The Red Raiders are one of three Big 12 teams that remain in the top 25 with Kansas ahead at No. 7 and Oklahoma climbing up to No. 22.

Up next the Red Raiders will play Iowa State at 8 p.m. inside the United Supermarkets Arena, then go against Baylor at 5 p.m. Saturday. Currently, Tech is 15-1 on the season and 4-0 in conference play.
