LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - For the fourth straight game, the Lady Raider basketball team came up just short, as they fall to the Texas Longhorns at home, 78-71.
The Lady Raiders had a lead for 26 minutes, but Texas would outscore Texas Tech in the second half 43-31.
Texas Tech had four players reach the double-digit milestone, led by Chrislyn Carrs with 23 points.
Brittany Brewer and Sydney Goodson both had 13 points, while Erin DeGrate had 11 points.
Tech was outrebounded by 14 and Texas was lights out when they got their shots in the paint.
With the loss, the Lady Raiders fall to 10-9 on the season, and 1-7 in Big 12 Conference play.
Up next, they will play Iowa State on Tuesday, tip off is slated for 6:30 p.m.
