LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - After setting 26 personal bests in a meet that was regarded as one of the most competitive in the nation, the Red Raider Indoor Track & Field team remained No. 1 in the nation.

Over the weekend of events, Texas Tech picked up three wins from field events (Chinne Okoronkwo Pole Vault, Odaine Lewis Long Jump, and Zarriea Willis Long Jump).

Chinne Okoronkwo 10th-ranked pole vault from this past weekend was a big contributor to the women’s indoor team coming in at No. 18 in the poles.

The Red Raiders are the only team in the top-five that didn’t move after the nations most competitive meet from this past weekend.
