LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - After playing one of the most complete games of the season against TCU, the Red Raiders went on the road and struggled against Kansas.
With the 79-63 loss to Kansas, Texas Tech falls to 17-5, 5-4 in Big 12 Conference play.
The Red Raiders trailed the Jayhawks by 20 points at the halftime break. In the second half, Texas Tech outscored Kansas by four but the first half deficit was too much to overcome.
The Red Raiders out-rebounded the Jayhawks, but they struggled shooting, as they finished with a shooting percentage of 34.4 percent.
Texas Tech also shot 21 percent from three, while Kansas hit 13 three pointers.
Up next for Texas Tech, they will host Big Monday for the second consecutive week when they welcome in West Virginia.
