Lubbock County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested, charged with domestic assault

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock County Sheriff’s Deputy was arrested early this morning and charged with domestic assault.

The police report says around 2:45 a.m. officers were called to a house in the 5200 block of Marshall Street, which is on North Slide Road.

The report says 32-year-old Brandon Coulter was accused of causing bodily injury to a female.

According to the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office, Coulter has been placed on administrative leave pending further investigation.

“We take these allegations very seriously. An internal administrative investigation in coordination with the Lubbock Police Department is underway,” said Cpl. Patricia Holbert with the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office.

Coulter was arrested at the house and was booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center where he is being held on a $1,500 bond.
