LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - It has been a staple at Joyland Amusement Park for the past 44 years. The Mad Mouse roller coaster, or Mouse Trap as many call it, is being taken down to make room for a new attraction.

The Mad Mouse is being sold and will go on to live at another amusement park.

The Sandstorm roller coaster will be taking its place.

The new coaster will be up and running this summer, but the amusement park opens on March 2, 2019.
