LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Texas Tech has announced it will cancel Monday’s baseball game against the Oregon Ducks, citing frigid weather. The games will not be rescheduled.
Monday’s game would have been the fourth game of a four-game series against Oregon. Of the three games, Tech won two, losing the season opener to the Ducks.
Single-game tickets can be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any of Tech’s remaining games with the exception of three premium series against Kentucky on Feb. 22-24, Oklahoma State on April 26-28 and TCU on May 16-18, according to a Tech Athletics news release.
Cold weather is supposed to stick around for most of the week and some precipitation is possible throughout Tuesday morning. Chances of precipitation will also remain throughout the week. Stick with the KCBD Weather team here for continued updates.
Tech’s next series will be against Kentucky, starting Friday at 6 p.m. inside Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
