LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The man accused of murdering a Pampa, Texas family will now stand trial in Lubbock. According to the Amarillo Globe-News, a state district judge in Wheeler ordered the capital murder trial of Levi King, 26 moved to Lubbock County.
King confessed to two killings in Missouri in 2005. He faces a life sentence there, but authorities in Texas want him to face the death penalty for the murders of Brian Conrad, 31, his pregnant wife Michell Conrad, 35 and her 14-year-old Zach Doan.
Jury selection is scheduled to begin June 30th.
