KCBD, NewsChannel 11 Lubbock |Car accident claims life of elderly Levelland man

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A traffic accident claimed the life of a Levelland man on Monday afternoon. Around 2:00 p.m., 87-year-old Glendon Leroy Burton of Levelland was in an accident along Highway 114 near Barton Lane, which is close to Opdyke West.
DPS says Burton failed to yield the right of way at an intersection of Highway 114 and his vehicle was struck by an S.U.V. The other driver suffered minor injuries, according to DPS.
