ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A motorcyclist has been killed in an early morning crash Tuesday in Albuquerque.
Bernalillo County sheriff's spokeswoman Erin Kinnard Thompson says the closed lanes of a major Albuquerque thoroughfare, Paseo del Norte, were reopened shortly before 10 a.m. The eastbound lanes had been closed after the 6:30 a.m. crash.
No names have been released.
Authorities say the motorcyclist lost control after a truck braked. The motorcyclist was thrown off the bike and run over by a second vehicle.
Thompson says neither the motorcyclist nor the driver of that vehicle showed signs of intoxication or drug use. Officials are trying to locate the truck.
