Potts wins AT&T All-America Player of the Week

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Texas Tech Red Raider Quarterback Taylor Potts has won this week's AT&T All-America Player of the week.

In the Red Raiders' 45-38 win over Baylor, Potts threw for 462 yards and four touchdowns. At one point in the first half he completed 15 straight passes. South Carolina Wide Receiver Alshon Jeffery placed second for his performance in the Gamecocks' stunning 35-21 win over No. 1 ranked Alabama. He had seven receptions for 127 yards. Ohio State Quarterback Terrelle Pryor and Auburn Quarterback Cam Newton placed third and fourth respectively.

Each of the players was nominated by ESPN based on their outstanding performances last week. The winner was determined by the number of votes they received by the public.
