Texas Attorney General backs candidate in District 85 State Rep. race

PLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) - Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott stopped in Plainview on Tuesday to throw his support behind Republican Jim Landtroop.

Landtroop is running against Incumbent Joe Hefline for the District 85 State Representative seat. Abbott says Landtroop shares his views on health care reform and other issues.

The Attorney General has joined with several other states in a lawsuit that challenges the constitutionality of the Affordable Health Care Act approved by President Obama.
