Christie Post has a passion for journalism and it has always been her dream to tell stories. She is ecstatic to be in Lubbock and work as a multimedia journalist for KCBD. She wants her audience to experience the facts, the news and the truth. She develops every story by finding a unique angle.
Christie grew up in the beautiful Centennial, Colorado with two older brothers. She absolutely loves the mountains, but enjoys living in new and exciting places. She graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University and is proud to be a Sun Devil.
Prior to graduation Christie worked as an on-air reporter for two years at Cox 7 Arizona. She also has a passion for sports and worked for the National Basketball Association Entertainment as a producer and production assistant. She's had an amazing opportunity to interview professional athletes like Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Phil Mickelson and many more. Her experience extends to interning in Los Angeles at Extra TV and Style Network. Christie also interned at KNXV in Phoenix, KMGH and KWGN in Denver. She's received great opportunities and learned so much from each and every job and internship. She wants to bring her knowledge to Lubbock and can't want to experience and learn more.
In her spare time Christie enjoys working out, traveling, laying by the pool, snowboarding, anything athletic and of course shopping. Christie is a very outgoing person who loves meeting people and having fun with friends.
