DALLAS (AP) - Tyler Seguin scored three goals and assisted on a fourth in the second period Saturday, leading the Dallas Stars to a 5-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers. The game was tied 1-all until Seguin came in on a 2-on-1 rush with Jamie Benn during the second period. The Stars then scored three times in a span of 1:02 to break the game open at American Airlines Center.
SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Paul George scored 28 points and the Indiana Pacers won at San Antonio 111-100 last night, snapping an 11-game skid against the Spurs. Kawhi Leonard scored 18 points, Manu Ginobili added 16, Tony Parker had 13 and Tim Duncan 10 for the Spurs.
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Monta Ellis hit a 21-foot jumper at the buzzer and the Dallas Mavericks snapped the Portland Trail Blazers' four-game winning streak with a 108-106 victory Saturday night. Ellis finished with 22 points and Dirk Nowitzki had 28 for the Mavericks' third straight win.
WACO, Texas (AP) - Bryce Petty threw touchdown passes on the first two drives of the second half for Number 9 Baylor and the Bears won their first Big 12 title and a Fiesta Bowl berth with a 30-10 victory over 23rd ranked Texas Saturday. The final game in Baylor's old stadium became a de facto Big 12 championship game after Number 6 Oklahoma State's lost to 18th ranked Oklahoma just before kick off in Waco.
