Born and raised in Arlington, Colin is a 7th Generation Texan and anyone who is around him for a little while will find that out. Since the age of four, he has been playing or watching sports, especially baseball where he was on scholarship as a part of the Belhaven Blazers team and selected First Team All-GCAC pitcher.
After graduating cum laude from Belhaven College with a Communications Degree, Colin's television career eventually started in Corpus Christi leading him to Laredo where he was a Sports Director for another affiliate.
When Colin is not at the station, you can find him training for triathlons with sports reporter Brandon Moore, in the gym, out in the mountains backpacking or watching movies. There is only one thing Colin loves more than sports, his family. Both his parents, Richard and Rebecca still live in Arlington, along with most of his extended family. His sister, Kate Horne, has her Ph.D. in experimental pathology and lives in Galveston working for UTMB-Galveston. Colin is also the proud uncle of Chloe Elaine Horne, born September 24th, 2009 to Kate and Tim.
If you see him around town, go up and introduce yourself and talk about sports or life.
