Childress Baby Dies In Dog Attack

A Childress family buried their 11-month-old infant Monday after he was mauled by a dog last week.

According to "The Childress Index" Ashton Lee Scott was in the care of his great-grandmother when the dog attacked. She was warming a bottle for the infant, and that's when the rottweiler escaped from another room inside the house.

The Childress County Grand Jury will review the case.
