KCBD, NewsChannel 11 Lubbock |Tech Health Sciences Center Officially Gets New Acting President

On Friday Texas Tech Chancellor Dr. David Smith announced that Elmo Cavin will serve as the acting President of the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. Cavin is currently the Executive Vice-President of the HSC and he will keep those responsibilities while serving as president.
Dr. Smith says he will set up a search committee made up of Tech regents, deans at the Health Sciences Center and others to find a permanent president.
