New iPhone G-3 Flying Off Lubbock Store Shelves

A line around the AT&T store in Lubbock was a tell-tale sign that the new iPhone is in town.

The iPhone G3 hit store shelves Friday morning, but some shoppers started lining up around 7:30 p.m. Thursday night.

By Friday morning, the line wrapped all the way around the store at 82nd and Slide and the phones were sold out by Friday afternoon.

"The phone's awesome, but it's more just the atmosphere of getting the new one, the new apps, and they've got this youtube button I've been hearing all about. It's pretty sweet," said  Nathan, and iPhone customer.

Stores will be getting shipments daily, so there will be more iPhones available in the coming days.
