The FDA has approved a new drug to treat type two diabetes. The drug, called Januvia, works by enhancing the body's own ability to produce insulin which is the hormone that regulates blood sugar.
The only problem is, this new drug costs $4 a pill and the current drug treatment is just fifty cents a pill. But some may want to pay more for the new drug because Januvia doesn't effect your weight or cause fluid retention.
