Born December 25, 1941 in Muenster, Texas David Wayne Parks was a former Texas Technological College, now Texas Tech University, wide receiver. Parks attended Texas Technological College from 1961-1963, and left his mark on the Red Raiders program.

Pierson was drafted by the Phoenix Mercury in the 1st round, (4th overall) out of Texas Tech in the 2003 WNBA Draft. She stayed with The Mercury till 2005. In 2006 Pierson signed with the Detroit Shock where she has won two championships, one in 2006, and one in 2008.

Born June 29, 1977 in Waxahachie, Texas William Montae Reagor is a defensive tackle. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 1999 NFL Draft. He played college football at Texas Tech. Reagor was a starter at Texas Tech, and started in 41 of 44 career games.
