Monday, early voting on alcohol and other issues

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Expanded alcohol sales in Lubbock will go up for election starting Monday.   The election is May 9th but early voting begins Monday and wraps up May 5th.   Those early voting locations include the elections office at 1301 Crickets avenue.   Follow THIS LINK for the complete list.

Although it may be the most talked about topic, alcohol isn't the only issue on the ballot.  Some residents in Lubbock county will vote on:

• An $80 million dollar issue for Lubbock-Cooper ISD. 
• A $16 million dollar bond issue in Abernathy
• Board positions for the Abernathy, Roosevelt, and Frenship boards.
• The mayors of Slaton and Shallowater are up for election.
• Along with an Idalou council position.
