LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A money dispute between 19 Garza County residents and Lubbock City Hall comes up Thursday during the City Council meeting.
The city needs to buy the right of way for a pipeline between Lubbock and Lake Alan Henry. Right now the city has almost $2 million budgeted to purchase right of way. Originally, the Garza County landowners sought nearly twice that much. We'll find out Thursday if the two sides have come to an agreement.
