Man arrested after shots were fired in west Lubbock neighborhood

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock man has been arrested after shots were fired near the Los Colinas Apartments in the 5500 block of 56th street Sunday night.

Police responded to a shots fired call around 11:45 p.m. Sunday night. According to officials, police were not able to locate anyone at the time. Shortly thereafter, Rueben Sosa, 36, was pulled over and police discovered a gun. Police took Sosa into custody and is being charged with unlawful carry of a weapon, stalking and possession of a firearm.

There were no injuries reported in association with the shots fired. KCBD NewsChannel 11 will continue to follow this story and will bring you the latest as it becomes available.
