Former Football Player Files Suit

A former Levelland high school football player is claiming it was a defective design that left him in a wheelchair.

Monday, a civil trial started in Lubbock Federal Court involving Jeremy Green.  He's suing Schutts Sports Manufacturing Company for the alleged defect.  Green was paralyzed from the waist down in a Levelland football scrimmage in August of 2004.
