Monday will mark the eight month anniversary of the disappearance of Peggy Merimon.
Merimon was last seen August 9 leaving the Lubbock State School with co-worker Kay Harrelson. Harrelson's body was found 11 days later but so far no signs of Merimon. Monday, the Merimon family will hold a ribbon cutting to mark the eight month anniversary. It will be in the Ralls Downtown Square Monday afternoon, starting at 4:00 p.m. Meanwhile, volunteers are needed to assist in a new search for Merimon. It's next Saturday, April 14th at 9:00 a.m. If you can help, you're asked to gather at the Valero Fast Stop at Frankford and the Clovis highway.
