YOU'RE INVITED: Friday ... at the United Spirit Arena

Red Raider basketball fans have the opportunity to get an early glimpse of their 2007 - 2008 team on Friday, October 12, at the United Spirit Arena. Coach Bob Knight has invited university faculty, staff, students, and fans to watch the Red Raiders in their opening practice for the season.

The doors at the United Spirit Arena will open at 6:00 PM. The USA staff will have all the doors open to everyone wishing to attend Friday's practice. PSL and season ticket holders have seats in the lower level of the USA in rows 1 through 13. There will be open seating for all other attendees. The USA balcony will be closed.

Lady Raider head coach Kristy Curry will make opening remarks at 6:40 PM. At the conclusion of Coach Curry's remarks, the 2007-2008 Lady Raider squad will be introduced to the fans.

Coach Bob Knight will make his opening remarks after the introduction of the Lady Raiders.

The 2007-2008 Red Raider squad will take the court at 7 PM.

Free parking will be available in the USA north parking lot as well as the parking lot west of Indiana Avenue.

Coca-Cola will provide free refreshments.

The Red Raiders open their 2007-2008 campaign on Saturday, November 10, against UC Riverside at 1:00 PM at the United Spirit Arena.
