MULESHOE & SEMINOLE (KCBD) - Two South Plains areas consider legalizing alcohol sales.
The Bailey County Commissioners approved a May election ballot for the city of Muleshoe. If voters pass the measure, it would allow the sale of alcohol for "off premise" consumption.
Over in Gaines County, organizers are still trying to get enough signatures for an alcohol election. They have until Monday to gather 890 or more valid signatures. They told the Seminole Sentinel Newspaper that they were not sure how many they had.
