Ransom Canyon man killed by lightning while on vacation

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A 63-year-old man from Ransom Canyon died after he was struck by lightning Sunday.

Stan Grassel was visiting Port Aransas, near Corpus Christi. Emergency crews found Grassel unconscious on the beach and determined that he had been struck by lightning.
