MORTON, TX (KCBD) - A South Plains feedlot makes statewide news. We want to warn you that the images below might upset some viewers.

The Associated Press says animal rights advocates demand better conditions at the Frontier Meat Company near Morton. They say horses live with decomposing carcasses that are not getting buried. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality said something similar to the Associated Press. The AP says the horses are fattened in Morton and sent to slaughter houses outside the U.S.
