South Plains Man Recovering After Oil Truck Explosion

Doctors have upgraded the condition of a man injured when his oil truck exploded near Sundown. Doctors say the man is now in serious condition, upgraded from critical.

Aerocare flew him to UMC Wednesday afternoon after the explosion in an oil field. Investigators are still not sure why the truck exploded. It happened just south of Sundown. The man's name has not been released.
