Update on LISD Superintendent search possible on Tuesday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The search continues for a new superintendent of Lubbock ISD schools.   There are reports that Lubbock ISD does not have enough applicants for the job.

Board president Gordon Wilkerson chose not elaborate on those reports at this time. Instead, he tells NewsChannel 11 that he has a meeting with the outside search consultants on Tuesday. The district is looking to replace Wayne Havens as he retires.

NewsChannel 11 will continue to follow this story and will bring you the latest as it happens.
