New Bishop named for local Episcopalians

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Episcopal Diocese of Northwest Texas will soon have a new bishop.   Reverend J. Scott Mayor will be ordained the 5th bishop of the diocese Saturday.

Scott says, "It's a real humbling thing to be chosen to serve and at the same time I'm very proud to be associated with this diocese and this church."  Mayor will oversee 80 counties and 35 to 40 congregations and schools.
