Choir records album for local scholarship fund

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The West Texas Mass Choir recorded a 13-track album Saturday to help send less fortunate students to college. The 100-member choir was led by gospel artist Luther Barnes while Lubbock residents enjoyed the concert at the Church of the Blessed.

"We're raising funds for the people that are unable to have college funds, scholarships," said Pastor Johnny Perez.  Procedes from CD sales will go to benefit Each One Reach One, a local organization providing scholarships to area students.

If you are interested in purchasing the album, be on the lookout for it soon at local stores like Mardel.
