LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - NewsChannel 11 showed you pictures from inside the Plainview peanut plant. The photos were released by a U.S. House Subcommittee.

They show dead mice, bird feathers and fecal matter inside the food processing facility. Congressman Greg Walden of Oregon says the photos were taken by federal inspectors at the Plainview plant. The Peanut Corporation of America Plants in both Plainview and Blakely, Georgia are blamed for nearly 700 salmonella illnesses and nine deaths.

The list of recalled products grows. Arizona-based "Lehi Valley Trading" has voluntarily recalled some 300 varieties of nut and dried fruit mixes. According to the Arizona Republic Newspaper, they contain product nuts from the Plainview Plant. California-based Napa Nuts recalls all of its peanuts over salmonella concerns. According to KCRA in California, the peanuts also came from Plainview.
