Fire destroys South Lubbock mobile home


LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Firefighters from three departments responded to a mobile home fire in South Lubbock Monday.

The call went out just before 1:30 p.m., at the Jackson Mobile Home Park at 116th and South University. The Woodrow Fire Department was first on the scene, and reported heavy smoke and fire. Fire departments from both Lubbock and Wolfforth also responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported, but the trailer sustained heavy damage. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
