Man could be charged with attempted murder for Brownfield stabbing

BROWNFIELD, TX. (KCBD) - A young man is in jail, and soon he might be charged with attempted capital murder. The Terry County Sheriff's Office says a 21-year-old man stabbed a 64-year-old woman in a burglary gone wrong.

It happened Saturday morning about a half mile west of Brownfield. Authorities have not yet released any names, but according to the Sheriff's Office, the victim is in the intensive care unit of University Medical Center.
