LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Fisher-Price and the Consumer Product Safety Commission have announced a voluntary recall for 24,000 high chairs.  The CPSC says this "3-in-1 High Chair to Booster" can fall backward from the high chair frame if the booster seat release is unlatched while the child is in it and the seat back can detach if it's not completely snapped in place.  If you have one of these high chairs, you are advised to stop using it and contact Fisher-Price for instructions and a free repair kit.  Consumers can call Fisher-Price at (800) 432-5437 or visit the firm's web site at www.service.mattel.com http://service.mattel.com/us/recall.asp.

The product number P5369 is printed on the side of the seat, on a label on the seat and on the packaging.  The high chair was sold nationwide at Target stores from December 2008 through March 2009 for about $100.
