Daycare kids not getting enough exercise - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A new report called the "Children's Activity and Movement in Preschools Study" shows that 89% percent of kids in daycare today don't do much when it comes to moving around, even if they go outside. 

In fact, the study goes on to say that 56% of their playground time is spent sedentary. That goes against what is recommended by the National Association of Sports and Physical Education, which says that preschoolers need 60 minutes of structured activity every day.
