Recalls connected to Plainview peanut plant continue

PLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) - More peanut products tied to Plainview are now subject to recall. This time a publication called U.S. Recall News says that a California company is recalling both 5 and 25 pound bags of raw blanched peanuts produced at the plant in Plainview. The company is called Torn & Glasser.

Last week Congress released photos from inside the Plainview peanut plant. They show feathers, dead mice and fecal matter. The P.C.A. plants in both Plainview and Blakely, Georgia have been blamed for nearly 700 salmonella illnesses.
