LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Saturday, Lubbock residents gathered at the Hub City's 10th annual Cesar E. Chavez March. Organizers say they want to raise public awareness of Chavez's legacy of non-violence while he tried to win rights for workers.
This year the event showcased grassroots efforts by local religious groups who helped families that came to the Hub City as migrant workers in Lubbock's early days.
