Despite a growing controversy a Dallas priest remains on the job, but the Catholic Diocese of Dallas does not deny he was involved in sexual misconduct. Father Ramon Alvarez is accused of fondling and propositioning a Houston man 11-years ago. Church officials say Father Ramon has undergone quote, "spiritual direction and psychological counseling." No charges have been filed.

Thousands gathered in Waco this week for the annual Baptist Convention. Members voted to create a new world missionary committee at Tuesday's meeting. The committee will help churches research and spread their message beyond church doors.

A Houston mother found her autistic son handcuffed and face down on the floor at school. A Klein ISD Police Officer handcuffed the eight-year old and forced him to lay down after he had a tantrum. The school then suspended Adam Calvin for one day. No word yet on whether his parents will file legal action against the school.

American Airlines is still at odds with its pilots. After a year and a half of negotiations, there is no agreement on a new contract and a pay raise. Leaders of the pilot association met with company executives Monday night in hopes of getting negotiations moving once again. There are no deadlines but pilots say they would like to see a deal sooner rather than later.
