UBS gets major facelift

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - United Blood Services has a new look.  It's in the same building, in the same location, but a major renovation and new addition unveiled Tuesday means a better service to the community. 

Les Long of United Blood Services, says, "It's more spacious.  It's a nicer experience. We do have a more interview booths so we can move people through quicker too".  Les adds that they are continuing their ‘Find the Hero in You' Campaign, which encourages regular donors to commit to three visits a year. Les believes if those ‘Heroes' in our community would do that, we'd never face a critical appeal for more blood.
