Parts of East Lubbock experience power outage

LUBBOCK, TEXAS (KCBD) - Portions of East Lubbock experienced a three second power outage at approximately 12:20 p.m. Wednesday. According to Lubbock Power and Light, the incident stems from a blown transformer near 50th and Avenue A.

Utility crews responded immediately to assess damage and repairs. Lubbock Police officers were also on scene to monitor traffic to the area, directing traffic where necessary.

KCBD was off the air momentarily, during NewsChannel 11 at Noon.
