Overnight fire destroys Wolfforth home - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Strong winds helped fuel a fire that destroyed one southwest Lubbock County home and damaged another overnight.  Although the blaze near 90th and alcove is still under investigation, fire officials do not believe it was intentionally set.

Investigators do say the fire started inside one of the homes around 11:45 last night and that someone was inside the house when it started. Winds spread the flames to a nearby shed, then to another house and into a cotton field.

The fire caused significant damage to all three structures.
