Gay and Lesbian Group to Present at LISD Board Meeting

The Lubbock Independent School Board will hear a presentation Thursday at 7 a.m. that might surprise you. According to school officials, a group of Gay and Lesbian kids will ask the board to let them meet as an official group on one high school campus. How the board will respond is still up in the air, but we will bring you full coverage of the meeting Thursday.

The board will also discuss state financing issues from Austin.
